Review | I ♥ Makeup Go! Palette

Do you ever pick up a palette and use it for the first time even though you've had it for months and suddenly fall in love with it? Exactly what happened here. This was included in my prize from Jesstastics - I won so much! And I love it so much I've ordered a backup (Makeup Rev haul soon!)

I ♥ Makeup Go! Palette Makeup Revolution

This palette reminds a lot of the Urban Decay Naked on The Run palette as there is the face necessities and a range of eyeshadows to get you set, an all in one palette you could put it. Go! palette by I ♥ Makeup (Makeup Revolution) is a good quality, lightweight fabulous palette for those of you of adore shimmery eyes and fresh looking skin!

I ♥ Makeup Go! Palette Makeup Revolution

I have trialled out every single look I can make with this palette and I love it so much! Firstly, the blush, bronzer and highlighter are what I could say are my favourite of all time. The cool toned bronzer is absolutely perfect as a contour shade for paler girls (NC15 over here!) and I have found that I can actually contour so much better now that I have a shade that works with my skin. The blush is matte and is a light - mid-tone pink depending on the light you see it in that works hand in hand with the shimmery pink highlight that gives my cheek a dewy rosy yet delicate blush. All 3 are so hand in hand which is what makes the palette so worth the money!

There are 6 shadows in the palette, working through from a matte light cream then shimmering baby pink through to dark shimmer purple. The only matte shade works really well as a brow bone highlight, as I think I've said before somewhere on here that matte whitey creams are my favourite brow bone highlight as it isn't too overpowering but still noticeable!

I ♥ Makeup Go! Palette Makeup Revolution

The pigmentation in the 2 darker shades is much stronger than the paler shades, but I find that to be similar with paler shades on my skin purely because they get lost in there amongst the white, compared to a darker skin tone where they could stand out like a sore thumb. I created a really lovely Inthefrow inspired purple smokey eye using this palette and another matte lilac from another MR palette that I will be sharing soon when I recreate the look! I find this palette versatile from day to night as they can be used as lights and dark shades as they fit so well together and blend really well!

I ♥ Makeup Go! Palette Makeup Revolution

Normally £6.49, now reduced to £4.99 but available all 4 Go! palettes for £8 at Makeup Revolution online! Have you tried any of the Go! palettes from Makeup Revolution, what are your thoughts?

Wishlist | DressLink

DressLink is a really affordable online clothes and accessories store that stocks everything from nail art to shoes, hoodies to pretty dresses, everything you could imagine is probably on there and posts pretty much worldwide! I am lucky enough to be working with DressLink at the moment and thought I would do a wishlist post of my 6 favourites from the site!

  • Women's Geometric Pattern Open Front Loose Sweater Wrap Cape Cardigan

  • DressLink Women's Geometric Pattern Open Front Loose Sweater Wrap Cape Cardigan
This cardigan looks amazing! Really on trend with the geometric design and would be perfect to sling over a little summer outfit with shorts in the summer to stay warm on those summer nights outside! It is also available in the opposite colours, so black background with white patterns here for £4.27.
  • Womens Fashion Cut Out Lace Playsuit Jumpsuit

  • DressLink Womens Fashion Cut Out Lace Playsuit Jumpsuits

I've never owned a playsuit in my life and I think this summer is the time to try one out! I always seen Shaanxo in gorgeous playsuits and I really hope this one is great too, just need to get some nude knickers to wear underneath to save any awkward VPL. The lace detailing and the keyhole cut out on the front make this playsuit really cute and summery while showing a bit of skin but still being chic available here for £4.42.

  • Korea Women Casual Hoodie Sweatshirt

DressLink Korea Women Casual Hoodie Sweatshirt Tracksuits Tops Outerwear
This hoodie looks amazing! I love the Coco design and it makes hoodies so much more chic! This season a lot more of the tracksuit fashion is coming through with designer joggers now available on the market, I'd love a pair but I think having a designer-esque hoodie would be a start!  Available here for £3.35 (also available in white).

  • Stylish Sexy Halter Lace Floral Decor Bikini Set
Stylish Lady Women Sexy Halter Lace Floral Decor Bikini Set Beach Vacation Swimsuit Swimwear
I've never been a girl to wear a swimsuit/ bikini after struggling with my own demons for a few years but now I'm ready to get back into the ease of hopping into the hot tub whilst I'm away with my parents in July. This bikini set is gorgeous, can you tell I like white lace yet? I think the frill detail would be good if you're body conscious but still want to wear a bikini then it can distract the eye from the edges where we all get a little roll or skin gathering if you're worried about it! But giiirrrrll you ain't got nothing to worry about! Available here for £5.27.

High Waist Lace Shorts

New Women Shorts Elastic High Waist Lace Shorts European Fashion Short Pants
More lace I know... but aren't they gorgeous?! I've seen quite a few pairs of lace shorts coming in this season but I think the way they've styled this outfit is amazing and I wish I had enough body confidence to rock this look if England ever got warm enough! Take me back to the Netherlands' Summer sun! Available here in black or white for £2.62.

  • Oblique Casual Retro Lace Bag

  • Women's Handbag Oblique Carry Casual Big Bag Retro Lace Bags

Sorry more lace.... DressLink even suggested 'lace' as a search term so it's obviously not just me! This handbag looks super chic on the girl in the photo and I get through bags like no tomorrow! I catch the handle on a door or something and rip it off and that's that or my keys always tear the lining so I like affordability with my bags! Available here in black or white for £4.05.

  • Women's Fashion Long Sleeve O-Neck Loose Casual T-Shirt

New Stylish Lady Women's Fashion Long Sleeve O-Neck Loose Casual Tops T-Shirt
I love the comfiness of this shirt! It is so relaxed and the heart motif makes it a bit more dolled up than a plain shirt! The loose O-neck on this shirt makes it even better for relaxing at home or for a day where you don't fancy anything tight! Available here for £2.91.

Is there anything that has caught your eye on Dresslink? Some products are even shipping free!

Review | Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in Soft Brown

I finally have my hands on it! It has taken so long to pick the right shade, cough up the money and be brave enough to buy it and let myself have decent brows! Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in Soft Brown, is the perfect shade for my growing out mid brown to mid blonde hair and I am so glad I purchased it.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in Soft Brown

If you haven't read any other review or heard of this amazing product, ABH Dipbrow Pomade is a cream product, that when used delicately creates full, perfected brows. That's the one thing you have to be careful of with this product is to have a light hand to prevent scary Scouse brows!
Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in Soft Brown Swatch
The easy definition of this product and that it is waterproof make it so stand out to me, I've been looking at other cream/ gel brow products from MAC or Illamasqua but nothing stood out as the amazing quality and pigmentation of this product!
Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in Soft Brown
If you prefer more of a subtle brow rather than the impact that these create, I am posting a review on the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Powder soon! I bought this product from Cult Beauty for £15.50 - such a bargain for the time this will last me! What's your favourite brow product?

Review | Go Customized Personalised Phone Case*

A little while ago I was asked to review for Go Customized who make personalised phone cases for a whole range of iPhones, Samsung, HTC, LG, Nokia and more (basically every phone you could think you want a case for!). The website was really easy to create my case on, with simple step by step insturctions that you could upload photos from Facebook, Instagram or computer to create your own case.
Go Customized Personalised Phone Case

I chose this picture from my Facebook of me and Jeff over Christmas and added the Dutch text "for forever and always" as it's one of the first phrases that I learnt in Dutch so I could say it to my loved one! Cheesy much!

The case I created was black hard case* (£14.95) and fitted my phone nicely, I could still access all the buttons and ports and it didn't affect my signal or speakers - pretty great really! The only downside to this slim case is that at some point I've lost a shard of plastic which really sucks and is a bit sharp now to touch, but the case still protects the whole phone and hasn't cracked or broken anywhere else.
Go Customized Personalised Phone Case

Make your own phone case on Go Customized to see just how easy it is for yourself, there are so many different case design you can choose from before personalising them! I want to really super recommend the company, however just be very careful with the case as I didn't drop my phone which is why I'm confused on the damage...

Coming Soon | Kiss Cosmetics KISSstick

Kiss Cosmetics are a brand new company that is just about to launch in the UK (week commencing April 20th) and they kindly sent me a product to try out and review for you angels before the launch date to prove how their new cruelty free lip products are for everyone and customer focussed branding will take the blogger world by storm.
Kiss Cosmetics KISSstick Caressing Red

The brand have been closely working with a group of bloggers the last few months in the run up to the launch to find out exactly want the customer wants at the moment, no matter their style, daring or 'not so much'.

There are 10 shades of KISSstick that are being launched in the upcoming couple of weeks (w/c 20th April)  and I was kindly sent one to review. Caressing Red* is described as a bright Marilyn Monroe red - they are definitely right! It is almost identical to MAC's True Love Kiss (Maleficent LE) yet for nowhere near as expensive and cruelty free.
Kiss Cosmetics KISSstick Caressing Red Swatch

Caressing Red* is a blue undertoned red with a creme finish that lasts forever, I mean it! I put it on for college yesterday (please excuse the uniform and sickness photos) at 9am, when I left early at 12 it was going strong and then it was still slightly there at 3pm after I'd eaten my lunch! For only £7, I think Kiss Cosmetics are definitely going to hit the beauty market by storm!

Kiss Cosmetics KISSstick Caressing Red

The moisturising aspects of this lipstick showed through yesterday when my lips were drying out more and more with this horrible head cold I've got at the moment but at no point did you see cracking or sore lips through the lipstick! I noticed in one of LeanneLimWalker's videos yesterday how she struggles to apply a Charlotte Tilbury Lipstick due to it's shape but I'm happy to announce this went on so easily after I put on my usual Essence red lipliner!

Kiss Cosmetics KISSstick Caressing Red
Hey there Mr Rabbit ;)

There are 9 other highly pigmented shades of KISSstick that will all be available on the Kiss Cosmetics website on the w/c 20th April here. The ingredients will all be listed on the website and the cap so you can see if there is any you wish/ need to avoid which is really nice, as a brand's honesty is high at the moment  (*cough* lime crime scandal *cough*) and going with a clear upfront attitude is the best way to gain loyalty.

I've seen a few other bloggers review other shades here and here, so feel free to check the other girl's reviews to see different shades! What do you think of KISSsticks?

Review | Urban Decay Naked Basics 2 Palette

I have finally got around to writing this post! How long ago did I announce on IG it was coming soon.. who knows! Sorry!!  But I'm on it now! I won this palette in a giveaway by my lovely blogging friend Jess from Jesstastics and I can't thank her enough for including this as a prize!

Urban Decay Naked Basics 2 Palette

I never thought I would like Basics 2 as much as the darker stronger shades in Basics 1 that one of my girlfriends own but now I could never turn back! I love this palette as it is the most verstatile palette I own, I could use it in every makeup look I complete for brows, crease shades, highlight or use it on it's own for the eye makeup.

Urban Decay Naked Basics 2 Palette

There are 6 shades, 3 lighter and 3 darker shades that are all cooled toned and along the same colour in different shades which helps with blend-ability (that isn't really a word but I hope you get what I mean).

Urban Decay Naked Basics 2 Palette

Skimp, Stark and Frisk are the lighter shades in the palette, I love Skimp and Stark as highlight shades as they are so close to my skin colour. I like to use Frisk as a transition shade when doing a mauve smokey eye or in fact any cool tone smokey.

Urban Decay Naked Basics 2 Palette

Cover and Primal are my perfect brow shades, I'm growing my hair out to it's natural colour so I love these cool toned browns for my transition to dirty blonde rather brunette. Undone is such a lovely charcoal shade, that isn't too chalky that is a good crease or outer V colour without being super dark and drastic with some looks where it wouldn't need a deepest black.

Urban Decay Naked Basics 2 Palette Swatches
Urban Decay Naked Basics 2 is available here for £23; what do you think of the palette? Better or worse than Basics 1?
